SongRoots is thrilled to be hosting our 1st Gospel Festival featuring Dr. Kathy Bullock and Lonnie Norwood. After years of working with these two brilliant educators and musicians we decided to create an opportunity for the wider Vancouver community to sing and learn with them together for a weekend of African American Gospel music and music from the African diaspora. 

This concert will feature City Soul Choir, the Gospel Festival Choir and Dr. Kathy Bullock & Lonnie Norwood. This will be a celebration of what we have learned over the weekend and what City Soul Choir has learned from Lonnie and Kathy over the years. 

This is the first time that Dr. Kathy Bullock (Kentucky) and Lonnie Norwood (Chicago) will have worked together and they will be joined by the amazing Michael Creber on piano. Join us for an inspiring, uplifting and beautiful evening of music.
